Build 2011
I recently covered the Build 2011 conference in Belfast, this is a huge, and almost week-long, festival of web development and design. An endurance event to shoot (and attend!) but hugely enjoyable. -

Like my regular design work these images are the result of a specific brief and usually benefit from forward planning and pre-visualisation. -
People
One of the most challenging subjects to photograph - and one of the most rewarding. We respond most strongly to faces and people, reflections of ourselves. An expression, a conversation, a moment captured and defined speaks volumes to us. -
Landscapes
Like most obsessive photographers the natural beauty of landscapes always attracts my eye, often both of them at once, and my lens. -
Street and Urban
The easiest locations to get to are my local haunts, but these are also the most difficult photography subjects. Finding new ways to see the all-too-familiar is certainly not easy, but it's possible, with great cunning - and good light.
